Dear Hungarian Friends and Supporters:
We are excited to announce the formation of the Hungarian Heritage Foundation of the San Francisco Bay Area. We have completed the long and arduous process of establishing a registered, non-profit organization and now we seek to collaborate with other local Hungarian organizations and the general public to promote Hungarian cultural and public interests. The popup brochure describes our origins and our goals in more detail.
We have concentrated our recent efforts on identifying a property to purchase to serve as the Hungarian Cultural Center somewhere in the Mid-Peninsula.
We hope to enlist the support of Bay Area Hungarians, their friends, and sponsors to realize this ambitious goal. Plans include fund raising by direct mail, through the internet, and through organized social and cultural activities. Our first major event, a Hungarian Heritage Ball is planned for this September (2010). We hope to see you there!
We ask that you support the activities of the Hungarian Heritage Foundation of the San Francisco Bay Area by attending our first fundraising event. There are other ways to help - for more information on how you can help us establish a new Hungarian center, please visit our website: http://hhf-sf.com. We can achieve our goals only with your support!
With best regards,
The Board of Directors
